Hot Weather Needs for Homeless Guests

We have had some hot days here in Portland. When temperatures are hot, Union Gospel Mission does the best we can to help our homeless guests stay hydrated and cool.  Survival on the streets is not easy when you are outside in the heat all day. Thanks to our donors and volunteers we are able to offer the homeless something to drink, something to eat and lighter clothing during our day room services.

We need bottled water, sports drinks, light t-shirts and hats to distribute to our homeless guests. If you can help with any of these items, please drop them by at 3 NW Third Avenue (corner of Third and Burnside) It would be a huge help!
