Advancement Officer
As an Advancement Officer, you’ll cultivate and steward relationships with major donors, churches, businesses, and community partners, inviting them to support life-changing work with individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction, and trauma. This role combines relationship-building, donor research, and proposal development with opportunities to represent UGM at events and create lasting impact. Customer Service & Cashier (Part-Time)
We’re hiring a part-time Customer Service & Cashier team member at our Tigard Thrift Store to help create a warm, welcoming experience for shoppers and donors. This role includes operating the register, assisting with merchandise, receiving donations, and supporting volunteers. If you’re friendly, dependable, and passionate about Christ-centered service, we’d love to hear from you.
Shower Ministry Coordinator
Help bring dignity and hope to those experiencing homelessness. We’re hiring a part-time Shower Ministry Coordinator to oversee our mobile shower trailer, assist guests, supervise volunteers, and support a clean and respectful environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong people skills, practical know-how, and a heart for Christ-centered service.
Overnight Shelter Coordinator (Part-Time)
As the Overnight Shelter Coordinator at Union Gospel Mission, you’ll help oversee a safe space for up to 100 guests, ensuring check-ins run smoothly, distributing essentials, preparing food, and maintaining a welcoming environment through the night. This role is hands-on and mission-driven, serving alongside staff, volunteers, and residents to show Christ’s love in action. If you’re compassionate, dependable, and ready to serve overnight shifts, we’d love to hear from you.
WLC Overnight Security Monitor
As an Overnight Security Monitor, you’ll provide safety awareness, monitor building security, de-escalate conflicts, and keep the environment calm and welcoming during overnight hours. This role combines vigilance and compassion; protecting residents while showing Christ’s love in action.
