Union Gospel Mission provides second chances to those who want to escape homelessness and addictions. As part of the recovery process, the residents of the LifeChange community work in a safe and nurturing environment at the mission's thrift store.

LifeChange residents who work at the thrift store gain confidence, job skills, leadership skills, and a second chance to build better lives for themselves. All the revenue generated at the thrift store not only supports the LifeChange program, but also helps the Portland community by having a place to donate unwanted gently used items.

If you shop at the thrift store, take a selfie showing what you bought. Tag Union Gospel Mission on Facebook with @ugmportland or on Twitter with @ugmpdx while using #secondchances.

If you would like to donate your gently used items to the Union Gospel Mission Thrift Store, please drop your item off at 11611 SW Pacific Hwy., Tigard, OR 97223. You can also schedule to have your items picked up by calling 503-639-6488. Please review our donation guidelines prior to dropping off items or having items picked up.
