In partnership with Agape Village, we help provide year-round shelter for up to 100 individuals a night. Shelter is open every night from 9 pm to 6:30 am. Guests are not allowed on property until 8:30pm and must be off property by 6:30am. Doors close at 11pm.
Shelter is "come and sleep" meaning once you arrive, if you leave, you cannot return until the next night.
Drug use is not permitted while in the shelter.
No weapons allowed.
Guests are expected to be able to respect staff, other guests, and the space.
Pets are welcome as long as they are contained (on leash, or in a crate)
All guests' pictures will be taken, given a badge, and basic information gathered upon check-in.
Guests can stay for up to 90 days unless they engage in services (case management, housing, etc...).
Guests will be let in, in the following order:
Group A - those guests who were in the shelter the previous night
Group B - those guests who have stayed at some point in the last 3 months
Group C - first time guests are let in on a first come basis

Legal Services
Are you concerned your criminal record may stop you from moving forward in your life or from getting that job, apartment, or education you desire?
EVERYONE connected to Union Gospel Mission is invited to sign up for FREE legal services today!
Some crimes can be removed or sealed from a person’s criminal record. This process is called an expungement. For this clinic, after receiving your submission, an experienced attorney will review your record, and then call you to discuss your options. They will help you decide if you have past crimes which are eligible for expungement. Even if you do not yet qualify for expungement, the attorney will talk to you about when you will be eligible, and discuss possible other legal services like:
Eviction expungement
Reducing felonies to misdemeanors
Waiving fines and fees
Driver’s license reinstatement
Warrant lifts
It is free to talk to an attorney to see if you qualify for expungement.
All attorneys are with the Community Law Division of the Metropolitan Public Defender’s Office.
Phone: 503-225-9100, ask to be connected to the Community Law Division.
