Union Gospel Mission will, once again, provide emergency shelter for Portland's homeless. Last night, UGM sheltered almost 60 people from the blistering cold temperature. Homeless Services Coordinator, David Willis, communicates that UGM still needs items such as blankets, coats, gloves, hats, sleeping bags, and socks for our homeless guests.

If you have any of these items that you can donate, please drop the items off at the address -- 3 NW Third Ave., Portland, OR 97209. You can also drop of these items at our thrift store -- 11611 SW Pacific Hwy., Tigard, OR. Please inform the store attendants that the items pertain to emergency weather needs. The store will close at 4:30 p.m. today due to inclement weather.
