Volunteer Profile: Jinks Railton

Jinks Railton Jinks Railton has volunteered at the UGM Thrift Store since May 2013. Initially, she thought she would be working downtown but the mission needed help at the thrift store.

She volunteers at UGM because it is a Christian based organization helping to change lives. “I see those lives that are being changed every time I go to work there. I love to see God at work.”

Jinks works six to seven hours a week sorting, folding and pricing linens. While this may be a blessing to them, she is equally as blessed. Volunteering gives her something to do that makes a difference and the physical work benefits her too. I love that I have such a wonderful opportunity to serve God.”
