Dressing up for healthy eating

In Union Gospel Mission's LifeChange addiction recovery community, residents are not only working towards being free of addiction, they are also learning new skills for all around health.

On October 31, LifeChange residents taking a weekly health and fitness class dressed up, not for trick or treating, but to make a statement about healthy eating.

After dressing up as processed food items, such as hot dogs, a marshmellow, graham cracker, and hershey candy bar (the "food" was

accompanied by "condiments" like ketchup and mustard!) the group proceeded to Chipotle restaurant to enter Chipotle's contest

to promote healthy food. In mid-November, residents will find out if they won the contest.

No matter the outcome, the residents are becoming health and fitness winners!
